If you have reels of 8mm film that are 3" in diameter (in a white or yellow Kodak box or blue/white or yellow plastic container) they are 50' reels. If your larger reels are 5" in diameter, those are 200' foot reels. Reels that are 7" in diameter are 400' reels. For ease of determining the cost of your project, each 50' reel costs $8.00 + tax to transfer. This price equates out to $0.16 per foot for all 8mm and Super 8 film. You can use the $0.16 per foot to determine the cost of your larger reels. Some on the metal reels actually have a foot gauge on one of the spines. The cost of your Master DVD runs $29.95 + tax and holds up to 1,800' of film. |
